Book Soup hosted a reading and talk with Elvis Costello at the Wilshire Ebell last Wednesday.
Tickets included signed copies of his new book, Unfaithful Music & Disappearing Ink, which looks like a good read.

Live Music, Live Sketching

How long has it been since I've seen live music?
Was it last May at my high school reunion? That's just sad.

Severo and I got to see Cindy Lee Berryhill, and Freedy Johnston / Tom Freund / Wally Ingram at the Mid-City Music Lounge.
The tickets were only $10! 

Cindy Lee opened. I sketched her a bit.

Road Gear Sketchbook

The Sketchbook Project extended their deadline until March this year, so maybe I'll get this done without too much angst. I plan to sketch all the electronic gear that I used on my On the Edge US road trip last spring. This first sketch I think I did in May at my mom's house.
